Once you start the game and you reach the profile selection screen, please hold your profile image for a short time. This will enable you to make adjustments to your profile and activate Cloud Saving.

Try to long press the profile picture of your profile. This opens three new opportunities. Select Restore Backup and try to load an older version of your profile, which hopefully loads successful.

Please try to change the graphics Quality to "medium" or "low" in the options menu and check whether the performance on your device improves.

Currently only the Android version of Construction Simulator 2 offers an experimental game controller support. A manual is available here.

Coins are the games in-game currency. You receive Coins for every succesfully completed mission you play. You can use Coins to buy or rent new vehicles or to upgrade your main base.

You can visit the bank in the game, where you can purchase Coins that can be used to buy vehicles in the game. There are several Coin packs to choose from.

The vehicle park features 36 original licensed construction vehicles from the following partners:

At the beginning there are only a few vehicles available. To get access to the other ones you have to absolve tasks and earn more experience to level up and unlock the other city districts step by step. While moving forward in the game you will get access to more and more vehicles.

If you are coupling a low-loader with a tractor truck you will get a dedicated slider on the left side on the screen which will allow you to lower or raise the ramp of the low loader. After you lowered the ramp please change the vehicle and drive with it on the low-loader.

In the company menu check the vehicle fleet menu. Select a vehicle you want to repair and choose show in vehicle hall from the options menu. In the vehicle hall there is a button in the middle of the screen to instant repair your vehicles. Alternatively you can build a workshop, check the home base extensions for this. If you have a workshop your vehicles get automatically repaired while they are stored in the vehicle hall.

Please switch to another vehicle first, because you cannot return the vehicle which is currently in use by yourself. Then open your vehicle park menu by a long-press on the vehicle icon in the upper left corner of the screen. Then look for the vehicle, you would like to return. Press the option button below the chosen vehicle. Once they fold out – you can tab on the option “return vehicle”. Alternatively rented vehicle can be returned in the vehicle dealer’s menu. Please be aware that the rent will be debited from your bank account when the machine have been returned to the vehicle dealer.

Vehicle ranks display the strengths of a vehicle in a certain area. For example an excavator rank 1 can move less earth, than a digger with rank four – which can move a massive amount of earth at once. The ranks of cranes for instance define the maximum lifting capacity.

You have to drive to a gravel pit and empty your dump truck there. Use the construction sight in order to see the specific dump area.

There are two compactors: One is for compacting soil (Cat® CS56B) and one is for compacting tarmac (Cat® CB44B). So if you would like to compact asphalt you will need the second one.

Please check the menu "Contracts" for new projects. Exciting projects await. HINT: You can only have one active contract at a time.

On construction sites where a crane can be used you will find a special crane site. After long tapping the crane site you will get an option to order the crane. After doing so it will be delivered and set up automatically.

In the upper left corner of the screen you will find a landmark symbol. Clicking the symbol once opens an overview of all important places as well as your current construction sites. If you long tap the symbol you will get access to the map instead.

To expand to the next district of Westside Plains, a special contract for each area has to be completed. The contract „Road Refurbishment at Sunny-Hills-Bridge“, which unlocks the second district, will be available at player level 5 and requires at least 4 purchased machines. The contract can be found in the company menu as a special contract. The contract „Clear the Road to Westgate“, which unlocks the third district, will be available at player level 10 and requires at least 8 purchased machines. The contract „A Bridge to Northridge“, which unlocks the fourth district, will be available at player level 15 and requires at least 16 purchased machines. To be able to accept contracts in the new unlocked area, the specific Expansion – Contract has to be completed in order to sign the lease agreement for the new home base.

The construction sight feature highlights important spots within the game world. This can be your vehicles, important buildings or dump spots of the gravel pit for instance. Construction Sight can be activated by double tapping the screen.

Please open the main menu in the game - where you can enter the construction jobs and vehicle park -> then open the submenu profile. There should be the option to spend your ability points.

Before an important location will be marked on your map permanently you have to visit it first. Usually you will be lead to these locations during a construction or delivery mission. After accepting a mission, you will always get the opportunity to program your navigation system to the destination automatically. This way it should be easy to find the location for the first time.

You can check your progress in the profile section. Therefore, please go to the main menu -> Profile -> Player Progress

Please open the company menu and have a closer look at the contracts menu. There you can check the job details and a list of steps which are required to fulfill the contract. With the small icon on the right you can skip single steps or by scrolling down and pressing the “Abort” button to cancel the current job entirely.

Please go to the options menu in the game and deactivate the traffic rules.
